Don’t ask me…

I’m not exactly sure what’s going on right now. Just don’t have the voice on matters that I usually do. I’m kinda in a stage where I’m thinking through quite a bit and not exactly settled on matters. So, I don’t have a whole lot of absolute thinking flowing through my mind and into my fingers.

A big thing going on now is prepping for Wednesday night, when I’ll be teaching at my church. Sometime in February my pastor asked if I’d be willing to speak sometime; I obliged and chose the April 12 day he said was an option. Here we are, down to the last few days, and I’m adjusting the focus slightly, based on what he talked about on Sunday.

It’s actually going to work a lot better, I feel. My plan was to cover ways to live in the power of Christ’s death, resurrection and ascension–with the focus being on the latter since it isn’t covered very often. Well, Scott nailed home the first two pretty well on Sunday, so I’ll just focus on the ascension. And being able to focus is always good.

So, for all of you in the area interested in hearing me talk, come on by Albion. Haven’t done much public speaking since college, aside from best man speaches at my brother’s and Puffy’s weddings. But those went pretty well and I’m not all that intimidated at the idea. Looking forward to stretching myself in new directions!
