Photo #2: Moody field

The good news for day 2 is that I had numerous options to choose from. I had a couple from these sunset pictures I could have posted and there was one of the moon I could have taken but chose to save for another day. And then there were the umbrellas…

But after peeking at the sunset, I blitzed out of the office to chase it down. I didn’t get a decent location before it was past-prime. But, I snapped some pics anyway and was fairly pleased with the results. A tripod would have helped a ton; I doubt one could blow these pictures up very big without noticing some fuzziness. Hand-holding an 80-200 2.8 at 1/20th doesn’t work to well–even when propped on the car.

If you know my photography, you know I tend toward dark pictures. So, this one fits right in. And yes, I again have trees…
