Yeah… not such a great thing to experience when you’re checking out new game systems. Not that I was even thinking about buying the make-you-cry expensive PS3, but still… a playable Best Buy demo system locking up while you’re playing it–three days before the North America release date–is about the worst thing that could happen.
So, this blog is my way of doing the best I can to let people know the experience I had with the PS3 was glitchy. This, of course, isn’t breaking news, because the world already knows the PS3 can’t play hundreds of PS2 and PSone games it is supposed to be able to play.
But now it is freezing up?
Tsk, tsk, tsk. Ain’t helping your cause any, Sony.
For what it’s worth, though, the baja racing game I played was pretty fun. Wouldn’t say the graphics were earth-shattering… and I was playing it at 720p, not the average-joe TV. Pretty sure Excite Truck for the Wii will be just-as, if not more, engaging. But it was fun. Just not $600 + a game + a second controller + an HDMI cord fun.
Guess I’m kinda happy the PS3 had a system hang, in a way. Because I now have a little more support for my Wii case.
