“Feedback” or “Thought you might want to know”

Just to draw attention to it: I posted a rather lengthy response to a rather lengthy comment to my "Yada, yada, yada" blog from a few days ago.

The reason I point this out is because I hadn’t been in the habit of responding to comments…and I would like to more. More interaction is always good. So feel free to comment away and expect a response when appropriate.

For a while, I wasn’t certain what blog etiquette was for comments. "If I just leave a comment myself, who says he or she is going to notice it?" I would ask myself. So, sometimes I would e-mail direct responses, but most of the time I wouldn’t respond at all.

But after checking out other blogs, it seems I’m just supposed to leave a comment myself. And if the person is looking for a response, he or she should come back to the site to read it.

So, that’s what I intend to do…and have done in the case above.
