It appears something is bunk with my desktop computer…and it’s really annoying. It happened Thursday evening and I haven’t been able to boot it up since.
I had my iAudio digital music player connected and restarted my computer. It wasn’t loading up for some reason….so I restarted a couple times and the same thing was happening. I then realized it was trying to boot off the music player’s drive, so I removed it from its cradle. Then all hell broke loose…
So, I fear some system error took place when I removed the player. But I’m not sure what. It acts like with Windows OS install is messed up…but I couldn’t prove that by any stretch of the imagination. I’m now doing my best to debug it, for what its worth.
I do have my data backed up, which is huge. I’ve been backing up to another hard drive for maybe a month or two. And I’d just reinstall Windows and see if that fixed everything if I were confident I backed up everything I need.
But, I’m a smidge fearful I may have forgotten something important. I guess that kinda defeats the purpose of backing up…
We’ll see how it goes :-|
