A buddy of mine, Shaun Page, was recently diagnosed with leukemia. I don’t
know exact details, but the latest I heard is that he’ll be starting chemo at
Mott’s in Ann Arbor soon and will be treated for eight months.
He’s in his senior year at Spring Arbor and was on the golf team…has a real big,
gental heart…just a great guy.
So, please join me in praying for his healing. Pass it along to your churches, small groups, prayer groups and friends and let’s attack the root of the problem: spritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms
(Eph. 6:12). May what was planned for evil be turned to good (Gen. 50:20). What a testimony it will be!
This is obviously a terribly difficult time for his family as well. I’m actually closest friends
with his older brother Dan, who I graduated with. Please lift them up as well.
Here are some scriptures to stand on in your prayers:
- Matthew 18:19
- James 5:13-18
- Luke 4:18
- John 10:10
- Psalm 103
- John 14:12
- Romans 8:28
- Isaiah 53:5
- Isaiah 61
One reply on ““Shaun” or “Prayer time””
definitely …. tell Dan I said hi and his family is in my prayers…I dont know that I ever met Shawn…but I’ll look in my echo just the same.
