Well…that pretty much says it all. Friends of mine are going to Cedar Point tomorrow and I originally said I couldn’t go because I had plans. I ended up canceling those plans, but had forgotten about the Cedar Point opportunity.
Tonight rolls around and we’re watching the lame Piston’s game, and I’m reminded they’re heading to the Point tomorrow. I was SO tempted to opt out of work and go with them. I haven’t been there in like 5 years I think. It’s time to return. I told them I’d head there in the fall, when they plan to go again.
My excuse? I didn’t want to abuse the leniency my employers give me. I feel bad sometimes how I take advantage of the loose work environment at Spring Arbor. Probably won’t be so blessed wherever I move onto–unless I work for myself of course. But even then–I won’t be paid for my time off…
Anyway, it’s a blessing that I even felt the liberty to consider going to Cedar Point on a whim. Thanks, SAU.

SAU is really nice to let you go have a fun day with friends. I am sure they appreciate it. I am sure the next game will be better. GO DETROIT!!!!
