I recieved an e-mail from Calumet Photo that took me completely off guard (is it just me or have I been taken off-guard a lot lately?). The subject line read this: Limited Stock of Canon 20D SLR and XL2 Camcorders at Calumet.
My immediate reaction: Canon 20D? What is that? I’ve never heard anything about it… Could Canon have done it again and released another camera-of-my-dreams?
So I follow the link and check it out.
Next reaction: N O F R E A K I N G W A Y ! 8.2 MP CMOS, 5 FPS, 23 frame buffer, DIGIC II processor…all for $1499. U N B E L I E V A B L E.
Now that probably sounds expensive to you, but I consider it a steal. Especially compared to Nikon’s ever-diminishing-becase-of-Canon line of digital SLRs.
Current reaction: How do I need to adjust my spending habits to make this happen?
One reply on ““The train has come in” or “My future camera””
Why don’t you try to win it instead? :)
