I’ve done a few things lately to make my site a bit more usable.
- I added search. Don’t know why it took me so long to realize I could add it…but when if finally dawned on me that you can embed Google search in a site for free, I quickly dug up the code to do it and added it as a side bar.
So, if you’re curious if I slipped a post with your name in it past you, plug it in and see for yourself… It’s unlikely since I usually speak in generalities…but you never know. Better ideas would be "church" or "Eldredge" or "Chase" or some other keywords that have popped up on a regular basis.
- I re-categorized everything. Not sure what kind of drugs I’ve been smoking…but over the past week or so, I went through all of my previous posts and categorized them appropriately. I’m still not very specific with my categories, but at least I associated discussions on the Lions and Pistons with the "sports" category, all lyrics I’ve posted with "music" and most walk-with-God talk with the "spiritual reflections" category.
So, check out the categories on the left, which I re-added to the left-side links.
- IM status. I’m rarely on Instant Messenger any more (just get too distracted when that thing is on), but if I am, the little AOL runner guy will show up in the top left.
- Comment feedback. For the most part, I’m now replying to comments left on this site. Keep you eyes peeled on the left to see if a comment from me has followed one you left. Also feel free to eves-drop on conversations with others.
