I’m kind of an upgrade freak. Typically, at first sign of a new version of something coming out, I want the upgrade. While many people are skeptical of upgrades–software ones in particular–I have this not-quite-naïve faith that the people working on these 1) know what they’re doing and 2) wouldn’t put something out that would break the old version.
So, I’m going to do the WordPress 2.0.1 upgrade. I migrated by blog to WordPress 2.0 over new year’s. I’m not going to claim the timing quite divine, but little did I know when I downloaded v2.0 that it had just come out the day prior. And apparently v2.0 was a large step forward over 1.5. But I’ll never know, because all I’ve been exposed to is 2.0. And I love it. Just blows Typepad away.
Apparently, 114 some bugs have been fixed with this 2.0.1 upgrade, which has been released exactly 30 days after 2.0. So casting aside the “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it” motto, I’m upgrading.
Praying it goes well.
