Photo #1: New Year’s Eve 2006

I’m going to attempt to do a daily photo this year. I don’t anticipate actually being able to post one every day, especially when I’m on vacation and without high speed internet… but I’m going to do the best I can. And as you’ll see if you click on the above photo, I’m heading to flickr for my photo management. I’ll be slowly moving stuff over there as I find time.

The story behind this photo–which I plan to include with my entries–is that I stayed up with my two oldest nieces, Shelby and Celeste, for new year’s. And we had a grand time. So, I started my daily photo blogging by taking the first picture promptly at 12:01.

Happy new year, everyone. It’s going to be an awesome 365 days.
