“Rain” or “July showers bring…muggy air”

WeatherI haven’t been officially counting, but I think tonight is going to be approximately the 37th consecutive day where it was hot and sunny and finished with torrential rains. It’s simply amazing.

Scott and I built a deck off the back of our house this summer, but haven’t been able to use it very much because it rains every evening. I guess I’m going to have to start getting up a bit early and grilling my breakfast.

How does some BBQ chicken sound at 7 a.m.? Just doesn’t seem quite right… Maybe a sirloin? Do eggs grill ok? Maybe some bacon?

If you’re bored, you can watch Jax getting hammered with another storm at Weather Underground.

Storms are cool and scary all at the same time. Perhaps that is why I love them so much. It has been the same here. About 5pm I make a mad dash for the car to roll up my windows. Last night there were tornadoes all over down here, and gusty winds made lots of trees fall down in the road. It made for an interesting ride home. I love this stuff! The cloud formations alone are so fascinating, but the damage they can leave behind are not.
