“Zion” or “Vactions are a beautiful thing”

I haven’t had enough time to think and get excited about my vacation coming up in a few days. But here’s a teaser of things to come. Scott and I are heading out to Zion National Park in Utah this Thursday through Tuesday.

Some pics (no, they aren’t mine):

And on this trip, I’ll be using a point-n-shoot camera for the first time in A LONG time. I just bought the Canon PowerShot S410 for casual-use and portable purposes. It’s going to be my bridge to the Canon 20D.

So, stay tuned for a new photo gallery in the coming weeks, after I return and digitally process the images on my computer and unveil the best of the best. In the mean time, cross your fingers that I figure out how to use this tiny camera. People say SLRs are “too complicated.” After using an SLR for so long, I say point-n’-shoots are the ones that are complicated.
